Why can’t we just use text in the header?

jellybeans.jpgWho says you can’t? You only need to edit the header.php file (apply what you learned under customizing the sidebar). Go to where it says <div id=”header”> and replace the <img> tag (everything between <img…. and ….>) with your header text. If you like it big, put the text between <h1> and </h1>. That should work. And don’t forget to replace drikatruu.com with yourwebsite.com. But still, a nice logo is going to look much better. Be creative!

jellybeans.jpgGreat decision. Drikatruu Jelly was designed with one font, very few colors and no background. You can change all that of course, or you can leave it nice and simple and add a splash of color through your logo. Ready? Go. Read the above paragraph again. Then go to the same location in header.php. In the image tag you see the link to the drikatruu-jelly.gif. Just edit the name of the website and the name of the picture file. If you want to put a jpg-file instead of the gif file - no problem. Save and done. Almost - you need to upload your logo (into the image folder under the jelly theme) with your FTP client. Now you can look at your website…
