Ok, this is a pre-beta thing, alright? Pre-beta as in, not really ready for prime time but in need of some feedback.

I wanted to play with Ajax and Javascript and have built a mini site, which should help to analyze other sites QUICKLY and CONVENIENTLY.

It should give you access to

• all pages listed in Google
• back links
• code info
• popularity info
• demographic info about your sites visitors
• show you the HTTP header your server sends out
• meta tags
• robots.txt

And a few things more. Each of them not difficult to get, but you need to hop around websites and remember search syntax. SiteSigmund makes this quicker. Without ever reloading the full page.

Give it a spin and … let me know what problems you had. What other functions you would like. Don’t miss the bookmarklet (click on the heart) - once you have it in your toolbar or in your list of bookmarks you can load the site you are browsing at any given time and have it loaded in SiteSigmund. Another page for LASIK in Thailand I want to promote and again a link to LASIK und Augenlasern in German. These are domains I prepare for later development, just like my domains about Zahnersatz.

Another power site where it is possible to get good links. I am also trying to get some placeholder sites in German about Zahnersatz und Implantate listed.

I develop domains. Some of them I plan to use only at a later stage. I fill them with some dummy content and then let them ‘mature’ for a year or two. Ignore this post.

Once you have more than one web site, you can use them to help each other. While most SEO agree that reciprocal links carry less weight (=bring less benefit) than one-way inbound links, they can at least help you to get noticed by the search engines faster.

Interestingly enough outbound links also help. Not as much, but a little. Of course it always depends on what type of site you’re linking to. ‘Authority sites’ are the ones which help the most.

I like also pointing to the search results of an authority site, which lists other sites of mine. This can potentially help in two ways: 1) I am linking to an authority site. 2) The result page of the authority site has a link to me (the search result). Once this trick becomes more popular, the big search engines will put a stop to this, but for now it seems to work :-)

And here you write what you like. You can also pull in pictures and re-size them if needed. WordPress is the most popular publishing platform around and you can imagine that there is plenty of functions to play with.
