Analyze your Site with SiteSigmund
Ok, this is a pre-beta thing, alright? Pre-beta as in, not really ready for prime time but in need of some feedback.
I wanted to play with Ajax and Javascript and have built a mini site, which should help to analyze other sites QUICKLY and CONVENIENTLY.
It should give you access to
- all pages listed in Google
- back links
- code info
- popularity info
- demographic info about your sites visitors
- show you the HTTP header your server sends out
- meta tags
- robots.txt
And a few things more. Each of them not difficult to get, but you need to hop around websites and remember search syntax. SiteSigmund makes this quicker. Without ever reloading the full page.
Give it a spin and … let me know what problems you had. What other functions you would like. Don’t miss the bookmarklet (click on the heart) - once you have it in your toolbar or in your list of bookmarks you can load the site you are browsing at any given time and have it loaded in SiteSigmund. Sweet.
If things are not working well, your browser might not like SiteSigmund opening iframes - something you can change on the options page of your browser.
