About Drikatruu Jelly

I don’t like version 1.0 of anything

Cool, no worries. Go back to Google. Have a happy life. Truth is, that Drikatruu Jelly is brand new as of May 2007 and that I am looking for … early adopters.

Should you be willing to give my template a go and get stuck in the process, drop me a line. Would be nice for me to actually see someone use my creation and I would be happy to help if I can.

nema.jpgIn a way I have already achieved my mission - in the process of building Drikatruu Jelly, I learned much more about how WordPress works. Or at least, how templates or themes work. Great stuff. If you want to go down the same road, you might also consider to have a look at Drikatruu Jelly. Why? Because it is written to be underestood, written to be customized, written to be re-designed. I hope you will find the comments in the style sheet and in the other key template files helpful.

Oh, yes. The name. Drikatruu is short for ‘dreams come true’ in an abbreviated German pronounciation. I like the ring of it. Nema, my daughter, was madly in love with jelly at the time I started with the template. When I did a little search on jelly, I found it defined as ‘a product that is soft and somewhat elastic, yet firm enough to hold its shape when turned out of its container’. I don’t think it captures the essence of what Nema likes about jelly but it seemed like a good name for a template.

Have fun and drop me a note in the feedback section if you want to share your experience.

Cheers,
Thomas
